O.C. Britton Dimestore Conversions

In the words of O.C.Britton;

"The Dimestore ones are what I prefer, I don't know if it's because I grew up in the Depression and didn't have any toys, but now toys are what I enjoy"
"I was a foreman at the shop and we were slow one day. I was passing an Antique shop and stopped to look in the window and saw an iron soldier, and that was it, I didn't realize it at the time, but I'd found a hobby for life"
"As to when I started making conversions, I'd guess about 1975, give or take a year or so in either direction, something I had no reason to keep track
of, I was just having fun. The same with repairing toy soldiers, I found I had the knack and enjoyed doing it and have actually repaired/restored for collectors from FL to CA and many points in between"

"There may be others that I've forgotten, waddaya want from an old geezer of 85 years?? The memory ain't what it used to be."
