American Pride Dimestore soldiers

The American Pride figures were originally designed by O.C. Britton, Joe Saine and K. Warren Mitchell under the name of U.S. Toy Soldiers or as was marked on the bottom of the bases U.S.T.S., because of higher than expected costs involved the figures were never shipped or sold under the name U.S.T.S., through unknown circumstances Don Koolberg  acquired the line and sold them under the name American Pride for a short time in the late 1990's and due to slow sales packed the remaining figures in a mini-storage. I ran across an old ad in the OTS and call Don, he was more than happy to sell me the line. Over the next year I sold them off individually. A complete listing of the 16 figure line appeared in the Old Toy Soldier, Winter 1998-99, Volume 22 Number 4 issue. The Dimestore size figures are original in appearance, the casting is good and they have a quality paint job. American Pride was located in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin.
